A thin, lightweight cord made of natural materials like cotton or hemp would be suitable for budgie hopping. These cords are gentle on the bird's feet and less likely to cause injury. It's important to avoid using cords made of synthetic materials or ones that are too thick, as they can be harmful to the bird's delicate feet. Always supervise your budgie while hopping to ensure their safety. **

The rabbit may not like hopping over laminate because it can be slippery and uncomfortable for their feet. Laminate flooring can also be loud and make a hollow sound when the rabbit hops on it, which may startle or stress them. Additionally, rabbits prefer to have traction and grip when they hop, which laminate flooring may not provide. Overall, it's best to provide a soft, non-slip surface for rabbits to hop on. **
